Jacob Damelin
Jacob is an MA graduate and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).
I specialize in working with men who struggle with stress and anxiety at work and in their relationships. Many of my clients come to me believing that they need to ignore their emotions in order to get through the day. Some think that they do not deserve to feel sadness, frustration or fear. This suppression of emotion often leads to further suffering for them and their loved ones.
I have experience and training in helping clients develop the willingness and capability to face their emotions head on. Through that process, they learn that they can handle challenging feelings. They discover that vulnerability leads to resilience, not weakness.
Each individual encounters these obstacles in a unique way. I promise to work with you holistically, as a complex person, rather than a set of symptoms. So, whether you’re looking for a specific type of therapy, or you just want someone to help navigate your personal and professional life, I would be happy to support you. Please contact me for a free consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
Tanya Lico
Tanya Lico is a Gestalt Student Therapist, now accepting new clients.
Are you feeling stuck or caught in patterns that are difficult to shift—especially in your relationships or sense of self? With 20 years of experience as a mental health clinician, I offer therapy rooted in Gestalt, DBT, and trauma- and adoption-informed care. My approach is warm, clear, and gently humorous, helping to make even the hard stuff feel a little more human.
I work with individuals, families, and groups, and I'm currently completing advanced training at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto. I'm DBT-trained and support clients navigating trauma, early attachment wounds, adoption-related experiences, emotional intensity, and relationship challenges. My work is deeply relational and focused on fostering self-awareness and growth.
You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. If you’re curious, I’d be glad to connect and explore whether we’re a good fit.
